Sarah listens very intently to Dirk's explanation, sipping from her glass and nodding when appropriate. Several seconds after he's done, she asks tentatively, "But... what about the cat? Doesn't the cat know whether or not it's alive?" She adds, "And I'm glad that wasn't a real experiment, because the poor cat would -- is this why that cat was in half??"
